“Your moments, your story, captured in images, which are preserved for you and generations to come.”
I love newborns! Their tiny fingers, toes and baby hair are priceless. I enjoy them so much I had four of my own (not all at once). My style is to capture mom and baby (even if you don't want a full image), details of the baby, and different poses. I do not create composite images (those that require a merger of two images into one. It is too staged and does not go along with my philosophy of "in the moment". )
Why Fresh 48?
This session is perfect for capturing the first 24-48 hours of life after delivery, which will preserve those first memories forever. The location is set in the environment of the baby’s birth, and is meant to document all the details of your baby, in a lifestyle format, while utilizing natural light.
How is this different from a newborn session?
No posing will take place, just the raw emotion of the parents with the new baby, and the details of that precious new life, in the environment of their birth, exactly how it is in the moment. Babies change so much in the first few weeks of life, and the Fresh 48 Session is the perfect way to always remember those moments in detail.
A newborn session is stylized and posed, generally taking place 3-10 days after birth, and is set in your home or a studio.

Children are one of my favorite subjects to photograph because they are so full of life, curious, and unbelievably spontaneous. When observing children, I strive to capture the essence of the personality of each individual child.
My images are about capturing the moment as they unfold.
Pregnancy is a short lived chapter in life. Preserve the moment with images to last a lifetime. You will have full shots, unique angles, detailed pictures and anything that I see in the moment.
When I'm not working with people I enjoy taking in nature and all the beauty it has to offer, should we just take the time to look and appreciate it. It could be a foggy afternoon and the contrast of the colors against the sky, or a beautiful sunset on a lake, winter with the freshly coated ground of snow, melting of winter, or details of everyday flowers/plants. It could be the fall colors after all the leaves are gone and the coldness of November sets in with all it's natural hues of browns, yellow ochre, and sienna. I look for composition, color, texture, contrast, and interesting aspects of nature. It is beautiful and I aim to preserve a fraction of what I observe and find interesting.
